Trapper Steve

Drama this weekend: an eight-hour torrential rainfall on Saturday flooded our basement (very badly) and drove a refuge-seeking squirrel into our furnace ducts.
Steve trapped it in a bag he had tied to one end of the ducts and the squirrel was safely released into the wilds of our suburban backyard.

Alice’s first baseball game
DC has a great new baseball stadium and the last weekend of July we got fantastic first-row seats, right behind the dugout. Alice was a trooper and stared at the stadium lights all night.
